Contract Hire vs Direct Hire

Sundus can recruit on a Direct or Contract Hire basis. In a Direct Hire situation the client will directly process the candidate’s mobilisation. For Contract hires, Sundus will process the mobilisation, for an agreed fee, and that process is outlined here.

Contract Hire

Upon receiving written confirmation from the client, the candidate will be provided with an Appointment letter by Sundus, informing him about his selection by the client.

The candidate will be allowed to serve the required notice period with his current employer during which time the visa will be processed.

There are two ways in which the mobilisation process can take place:

  1. The candidate can have his visa cancelled by the current employer and Sundus can apply for a new visa. If the candidate has completed 3 years with the current employer, an NOC will not be required. If the candidate hasn’t completed 3 years, the current employer will have to issue an NOC (No Objection Certificate).
  2. The candidate can have the current employer transfer the visa to Sundus.

Once the mobilisation process has been agreed, the new employee should pass all relevant documentation to Sundus to proceed with the hire.

Mobilisation Documents

Depending on the type of visa, and whether the candidate is moving jobs or coming to work in the UAE for the first time, the document requirements are different.

Upon mobilisation, Sundus will advise exactly what documents, information and photographs are required in order to process the requirements for visa, labor card and medical insurance.

We keep the candidate informed at every stage of the process.
